Sharing our expertise in no-cost consultations and evaluations is something we enjoy doing. You do have several choices for dog training in the greater Seattle area. This is our way of making sure that you have the opportunity to come and meet us, ask questions, and even get some help - before you spend a penny. If you are just beginning your search for a pet, a Consultation is the way to go. If you are experiencing a specific problem with your pet, or you simply aren’t quite sure of the best way to start your work with us, then a Behavior Evaluation is what we recommend.
Perhaps you are looking to add a dog or puppy to your family. We encourage research! And we have lots of resources and experience to share that will help you match up your family and lifestyle to complementary dog breeds, ages, and temperaments. We also enjoy talking with people about dog-related careers, and getting your pet involved in therapy and advanced activities.
Perhaps you just need a safe place to come and talk about how to make your life with your dog better. At your appointment time, one of our experienced Trainers will happily meet privately with you, listen to your situation, discuss your dog’s history with you, and help recommend a strategy going forward. It's not a sales pitch and you won't be judged or admonished. Often, we can make a few suggestions that resolve the situation completely. In other, more complex circumstances, we may suggest services at Riverdog that can help you, or may refer you to other experts in our industry. Either way, our goal is that at the end of the evaluation you come away with clarity, encouragement, and a positive, doable plan.
