Private lessons are available for clients who wish to work individually with an experienced Trainer. Privates work well for clients who want extra instruction in addition to basic classes, or who may be working on specific problems not appropriate for the class environment, such as aggression and reactivity. When you arrive, you will be asked to complete a short history of your pet, then the instruction will begin. These lessons are about one hour long.
Our highly popular Positive Puppy Starting privates are available for clients who are waiting to begin puppy classes but wanting to get a head-start on their training in the meantime. You and your puppy will meet with a trainer for one hour, during which you'll receive hands-on coaching on the latest positive training techniques, an assessment of your puppy's temperament, and answers to all kinds of questions relative to successfully rearing a puppy, such as house training, crate training, socializing, and the like. At the end of the lesson, you'll receive a nice thick packet of supporting material to take home for reference.

In addition to privates at our facility, we also provide in-home lessons for those clients who have a specific need or preference to work with their pet at their home. Reactive or aggressive behavior when guests arrive, or setting up puppy management programs are two examples of the type of instruction that sometimes requires assistance at the house. In-homes are 1-1/2 hours in length, and often include two Trainers. A free initial Behavior Evaluation is required, and our travel area is limited.
Whether it is work from a duck blind or upland game hunting, we partner with Todd Manuel of Snoqualmie River Retrievers to provide in-the-field gun dog assessments and workouts. You and your dog can work on anything from basic to advanced retrieving and pointing skills, out in the open with results that only one-on-one coaching can provide. Lesson times are flexible and run from one to two hours.
Simply call or email us to set up an appointment.
